When you were a kid, did you ever shade a piece of paper in every color of crayon you had, then cover it in a layer of black so you could carve in cool designs that would appear in a multitude of colors? There was a clot in my vein and blood wasn’t coming out of it anymore. The technician kept jabbing the needle around, trying to get more, but all it resulted in is a fat bruise that still hasn’t healed yet. All I donated was half a pint of blood. I&#8217;ve had the domain <em>chasethestars.com</em> since 2002. The archive in its current iteration here goes back to 2009.</p> <p>Sometimes I&#8217;m not sure why I do this, sometimes it feels like a chore. Maybe it&#8217;s OCD that I want to document every event of my life, but do I really need to keep it all in one place? Most Tumblrs I&#8217;ve seen are specific - either in subject or medium or both.</p> <p>I&#8217;ve been thinking about making a new one, of just <a href="http://chasethestars.com/tagged/stacey-in-sketches">stacey in sketches</a>-type posts, and keeping photos to Facebook only. Take away the personal details, have it more generic and relatable like my writing back in the old LiveJournal days.</p> <p>And then other times, I do want to have everything in one place for completeness. I don&#8217;t know.
